I was very excited a few days ago when my Mini-Elite nebulizer came in the mail from Respironics and Ronnie and Mandi at CysticLife. Its about half the size of my inspiration elite nebulizer, runs on a rechargable battery, and even comes with a car charger. The side-stream nebcub is sleak and doesn’t allow too much mist into the air (good for me since my neb’s mist has set off the fire alarm in my building). To further illustrate its effectiveness, I’m going to do some pros and cons

Pros
Can do treatments virtually anywhere
Lightweight
Portable/ Easy to transport (comes with a little bag)
Sounds like a new car rather than the rattly old sound of my current nebulizer
Small & easy to store, doesn’t take up room
Looks less like a bomb
Long battery life (about 3 days worth of treatments)
Neb Cup holds medicine well, minimal mist
Comes with everything you need, wall charger, car charger, battery, neb cup, tubing, extra filters, travel case

Cons
Takes a little longer than my inspiration nebulizer, plugged in and on battery
Medicine on mouthpiece flap flies into face/laptop/homework when used with vest

The only thing that is stopping me from using it every day is that it takes too long to fit my three nebs + Eflow in before class, as you can see one of the only cons. However, I will definitely be using this nebulizer on vacations, road trips skiing, when I go home for thanksgiving, or when I stay overnight somewhere. It is extremely portable and convenient and I love that nebulizers and other medical equipment (like my vest) are becoming so portable. Vacations are no longer a problem! I would like to thank the folks at CysticLife for the freebie! It is definitely going to change the way I travel!
